Privately owned and operated for the past 19 years, Heritage Publishing Inc. has experienced tremendous growth in both the number of publications we produce and the number of valued advertising clients in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Orlando, Daytona, Tallahassee and Southeast Georgia.

We are currently expanding our Editorial Team in the Northeast Florida area (Jacksonville Office) and are searching for the consummate professional to join us as we continue to expand.

This is a wonderful opportunity for recent graduates with English, Mass Communication or Journalism degrees. Applicants must excel in writing, creativity, attention to detail and meeting deadlines to become one of our staff editors/writers.

Responsibilities

  • Write effective copy. Excel in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Have the ability to edit and proof other team members’ work and provide constructive feedback
  • Provide or request photography
  • Keep up with current news and events

Editor/Writer position requirements are:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivation
  • Samples of work
