With Baptist Access, patients can:
- Find a Baptist Health provider or location
- Schedule an appointment
- Get directions from their home to their health care destination
- Find any location within hospital campuses including:
- Indoor wayfinding with turn-by-turn directions to patient care, parking, food, restrooms, ATMs and more
- View insurance plans
- Access medical records
- Pay bills
“We’re excited to introduce the Baptist Access app, underscoring our commitment to innovatively improving patient experiences,” said Michael A. Mayo, DHA, FACHE, president and CEO of Baptist Health. “In addition to providing in-person assistance, we are leveraging the convenience of mobile phone technology to make it easier for patients to navigate our health system, inside and out. On our two largest hospital campuses, patients will even be able to find their way from where they parked to their appointment, and back.”
“With Baptist Access, Baptist Health aims to optimize the patient’s journey at all main access points of the health system,” said Joshua Titus, CEO and founder of Gozio Health. “This is a strategy that aligns with research that suggests digital offerings play an important role in overall patient experiences. With this app, patients gain great control of their care journey with everything from accessing patient records and finding a location, to appointment scheduling, physician directories and emergency room waiting times.”
The Baptist Access app is free and can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple app store. Visit baptistjax.com/accessapp for more information.
