New Wolfson Children’s Terry Heart Institute opens for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery patients

Media invited for ribbon-cutting, tours and one-on-one interviews Tuesday, June 28, 2022.

Who: Wolfson Children’s Hospital leadership will join the pediatric cardiology, cardiac imaging, cardiac critical care, and heart surgery teams to celebrate the opening of the new Wolfson Children’s C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Heart Institute.

What: The new clinic provides a larger, collaborative space for pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac intensivists and other subspecialists providing outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular services on Wolfson Children’s downtown Jacksonville campus. Construction began last summer. This is the ninth Wolfson Children’s Terry Heart Institute outpatient office location.
